Service terms and conditions for professional garment care

Acceptance of Terms

By using Capitol City Cleaners' services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

Capitol City Cleaners provides professional garment care services including:

  • Dry cleaning services
  • Laundry services
  • Alteration and tailoring services
  • Pickup and delivery services
  • Specialty fabric care

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about garments and any special requirements
  • Disclose any stains, damages, or concerns with items before service
  • Pay for services as agreed upon completion
  • Pick up items within 30 days of completion notice
  • Handle items carefully when removing from premises

Liability Limitations

Capitol City Cleaners shall not be liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear not disclosed by the customer
  • Damage to items not properly labeled or disclosed
  • Color bleeding or dye transfer in items
  • Shrinkage beyond normal parameters for the fabric type
  • Damage due to normal wear and tear

Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the cleaning service provided.

Garment Handling

We exercise the utmost care in handling all garments. However, we recommend:

  • Removing personal items from pockets before service
  • Pointing out delicate or expensive items requiring special attention
  • Checking garments immediately upon pickup
  • Reporting any concerns within 48 hours of pickup

Pricing and Payment

All prices are subject to change without notice. Payment is due:

  • Upon pickup of cleaned items
  • Before delivery of pickup service items
  • At time of alteration service completion

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

Storage and Pickup

Cleaned items will be stored for 30 days after notification of completion. After this period:

  • Items may be donated to local charities
  • Storage fees may apply
  • We are not responsible for items left longer than 60 days

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding services should be brought to our attention within 48 hours of pickup. We will work with customers to resolve any issues fairly and professionally.

Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to customers who violate these terms or act in a manner detrimental to our staff or other customers.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Customers will be notified of significant changes through our website or direct communication.
